Kim D.2023-09-05Liked: This new campsite is excellent and just as described on the website. It is a quiet site so not one for party animals- but great if you enjoy a peaceful setting. Pitch spaces are generous and it is ok to put up a gazebo or awning up for shelter. The facilities are great, including hot showers and washing up sinks with hot water. The owners came every day to thoroughly clean and check everything was in order. They are an approachable couple who had great tips on local places to visit, including Saint Margaret at Cliffe with it's cliff top lighthouse walk. The site is well placed for many local attractions, including: wildlife parks, beaches and footpath walks. We can highly recommend the site and it is good value. We used this as a base to explore Kent with 3 kids and it was perfect. Holly Dolly2023-08-29Another fantastic stay over the Bank holiday weekend. Gary and Sarah are so friendly and accommodating. The new toilets/showers, sinks and washing up area is amazing. Always kept beautifully clean and well stocked. We had our favourite spot and stayed in our own tents, which Gary and Sarah remembered from last year! The site was quiet and no noise late into the night. This place is a little treasure and we didn’t want to leave, the best we’ve ever been to. See you next year! Daniel Warner2023-08-27We spent a great couple of nights at this beautiful campsite. The bell tent was perfect for the four of us, and having all the bedding, and cooking equipment supplied meant less packing and unpacking at either end of the stay. Result! The site itself was quiet and spacious, with great views across the countryside and plenty of space for the boys to play football and explore. On top of all that, the showers and toilet facilities were spotless. (Not always a given!) Thank you Gary and Sara. We look forward to coming back soon.
